The Filtration Stages
Sand Filter
The first line of defence, helping to capture larger sediment and particles such as sand and limescale.
Stainless Steel Mesh
Provides another physical filtration layer, helping prevent medium-sized sediment and particles from travelling further through the filter.
Micro-Porous PP Cotton
Designed to capture finer sediment, dust and particles that may be present in the water.
The Ingredients
This is where some of the main filtration happens.
Calcium Sulfite
Calcium sulfite is particularly effective at reducing chlorine and works effectively in both hot and cold water, making it well suited to shower filtration.
KDF-55
One of the key ingredients in our Shower Purifier. KDF-55 helps remove chlorine and reduce unwanted contaminants and metals from your shower water.
Activated Carbon
Activated carbon provides an additional filtration stage, helping reduce chlorine, certain impurities and odours.
Together, KDF-55, calcium sulfite and activated carbon form an important part of our multi-stage system. Our Shower Purifier has been independently laboratory tested to remove 99% of chlorine and reduce tested contaminants including aluminium, copper, iron, lead, magnesium, mercury and zinc.
And it doesn’t stop at filtration
The Filtered Beauty Shower Purifier also contains additional elements including Vitamin C, Tourmaline and Zeolite.
Vitamin C
Provides another chlorine-reducing component within the filtration system.
Zeolite
A naturally occurring mineral used within the cartridge as an additional filtration media.
Tourmaline
A naturally occurring mineral included as part of our multi-stage cartridge.
Red Mineral Balls
Another component within the cartridge that works alongside the other filtration media as water passes through the Shower Purifier.
