“I’d leave the salon with the most gorgeous shiny blonde hair — compliments flying in! But after a few washes, it would turn dull and yellow. The glow was fading fast.” – Tayla.
When Tayla brought it up, Kim ruled out all the usual suspects — poor product, heat damage, lack of appointments. Tayla was doing everything right. So what was going wrong? “I noticed the same thing happening to clients who worked in the mines — brittle, discoloured hair. After digging into it, I realised it was the shower water. Harsh minerals and chemicals were sabotaging their hair.” – Kim

With over 15 years of experience, she started her career in 2006 and launched Boho Blonde from her home in 2019. It quickly became a cult destination, famed for its creamy, multi-dimensional blondes.
Beyond the salon, Kim has established herself as a global educator and social media sensation. Her signature techniques and business strategies have propelled Boho Blonde into an iconic brand, with her educational tours spanning Europe, USA, and Canada.
Kim’s passion has always gone deeper than colour. After seeing even her most loyal clients struggle with dryness, brassiness, and breakage — despite perfect technique and salon-grade care — she started digging into the real root cause: unfiltered water. That revelation led to the creation of a solution to protect the hair she worked so hard to perfect.
